This is a gentle introduction to computing thinking and the python programming language. It is intended for students of the PhD programme Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural studies. This crash course consists only of 4 lessons.

Teaching methods
The course is a combination of seminar and practical sessions. In either case, active participation of the students is expected.
Teaching tools
Seminars will be carried out with slides and coding will be carried out with jupyter notebooks. A painless alternative to run jupyter notebooks is Google’s Colab.
